has anyone gotten their photo booth from PartyBooths.com? I'm doing some research about photo booths now and they seem to be the most affordable.
However, i see that they aren't a 'traditional' photo booth - they have a separate table with the printer ...
is this a bit tacky or weird?

They did the photobooth at TWOTY and I have heard nothing but raves about them! In fact, a 2009 bride recommended them to me. I can't wait for them for my wedding!

i'm actually looking into having a photobooth at my wedding too. i think it's a great idea, and something fun for everyone. i do prefer an actual photo booth though, the idea of having it hooked up to a printer i feel takes away from the appeal...

i'm looking at nycphotoboots...they were at the showcase last night and they let your trial the booth, it was a really cute setup.
it's not cheap... but i know ppl who have used them before and they loved them. and they also give you an attendant too, so in case you had a scrapbook or something, they help monitor it for you

Yeah, i saw them last night ... but they charge $1500 which is too rich for my blood. I found this other company online called East Coast Party Booths and they claim to be $1000 for a traditional printer-in-the-machine one ... but delivery is not included. i emailed them for more info but have yet to hear back.

whoops, just realized it's not a printer-in-machine type of booth ... BUT the guy just emailed me back and said it's $900 + tax and there's no delivery charge. not sure why i didn't see that earlier ....
I also was initially wary of the printer outside of the photobooth situation, but once I saw partybooths in action at TWOTY and heard some rave reviews from 09 brides, it was a no brainer. I booked with them last week!
With delivery, NYCphotobooths is like $1K more expensive and I don't believe you get a disk of all the pics that were taken?

We are booked with partybooths.com....soooooo excited!!!!!! It doesn't bother me at all that the printer is outside, it means there's more room inside for people!!!

Re: Photo booth form PartyBooths.com
you actually get a copy of all the photos... the photobooth prints out 2 copies and 1 goes in the scrapbook and one the guests keep

Re: Photo booth form PartyBooths.com
Ok so I know that this thread is a little older, but I am trying to do some research on photo booths. It seems like a really fun idea!
My question is... does anyone know which company personalizes the outside of them? I remember one time I saw the outside of it decorated with the bride and groom's pictures and stuff. I'm pretty sure I wasn't hallucinating.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Re: Photo booth form PartyBooths.com
i think a lot of them do it ... bu there's an extra fee involved (i wanna say it's $400 additional plus materials but don't quote me on that)
i THINK party booths.com does it ...

Partybooths does it for no additional charge.
We are booked with them & it doesn't bother me that the printer is outside. I agree with the other ladies that it leaves more time inside for other guests. I've heard nothing but great things about them

They charge $900 / 4 hours, includes set up and DVD of pics. For $240 extra, they include the doubles and scrapbook option. Not tax, set-up fee, travel fee, etc. $1140 includes it all.
