Photo booth or...

Hey ladies, I am a bit torn and can use your help. I am not sure if I should go with a photo booth or..

go with the plama tv's (through our Dj) with a Zap Photographer who will take pics and place them on the screen during the reception. We would also get the pics on a disc at the end of the night.

So confused because I love both ideas...Please post your ideas and what you would prefer as a guest upon attending a wedding.

I've been to weddings with both too
I think they are both equally great! It's fun to see your self on the big TVs from pics taken throughout the night but it is also fun to go in a booth and have a memory to take home with you, since you get to take the pics home.

Personally, I prefer a photobooth. Guests really go wild in those things.

I like the photobooth.. but then again also having some pics you might not have noticed might be nice too.. but then again that is also the photographers job too lol

yeh im not sure which i like better like you ... but unlike you i did already book my zap photos through my DJ bc he ended up discounting them about 300+ dollars! so i guess im stuck although i am very happy with them!!
i am still debating about doing a photo booth but between $$ and the amount of pictures i will already be getting .. i gotta see! it is tough though!
if its money guiding you .. i believe zap would be cheaper! and with the zap i got to do a picture montage .. so thats a plus as well!
ask some of your bridal party see what they say!

Thank you ladies. I love the idea of both too! I just think the photo booth must be lots of fun. Where is the booth usually stationed at the wedding? In the reception room?

I love the tv's too because I think it is also fun for guests to see themselves on tv. LOL!

Our photobooth was towards the back of the room next to the DJ and candy buffet table.

I am doing a photobooth!! I think its more interactive, plus guests keep the photos!! I am using Incredabooths... they give you all the pics from the booth and they also have a video option that will record for like 20 seconds when someone pushes the button in the booth, we also get the footage on a drive

I like the tv's better. IDK why but the whole photobooth thing bothers me. I think the guests will definitely have a great time with that but I just think it takes so much away from the actual reception. I know at my reception I want everyone dancing and having a great time on the dancefloor rather than huddled around a photobooth. But I guess it all depends on what you want.

I'd do the photobooth. We would get one but it's not in our budget. You can make a guest book out of the pics!
And as a guest, I'd rather the photobooth. I wouldn't want pictures of myself dancing appearing up on screens. It might prevent me from dancing at all.

We are doing zap shots b/c FMIL didnt like idea of photobooth but i think a photobooth seems like it wld be sooo much fun!

I don't know, I'm not a fan of the photobooth. I loved the Zap Shots so I got that through my DJ. I feel the photobooth would be in the way. I want people to dance and be involved. I don't want them forming a huge line by a booth. It's just my opinion but NO WAY!

If I had to choose it would be the photo booth. I'm not doing either (bc of money), but if money was no option for us we would be having a photo booth.
