Photo booth prices?

I would love to have a photo booth but I'm thinking it may be outside of our budgets. I would consider one of the DIYers I've seen but that may not be practical for me since that's probably a LOT of work. Smh. Anywayyy if you ladies don't mind letting me know what you were quoted for your photo booth rentals, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

If you want one of these on a budget, I'd advise grouponing it. If you find a DJ or company that does it and you like them better, maybe ask them to price match it.

From what I've seen, they start at around $700.

I called around to a ton of different places for photobooths and was floored by the price. Finally decided I'm just going to wait until a couple months before the wedding and find a groupon for a lower cost!

I am paying around $925 which includes the Photo Booth, attendant, frames, scrap book, props and it has video. I budgets $1,000 for it so i was happy to get one under that price.

That's great that you could get one that fits with your budget! I wish I had the same luck with mine lol I've actually been researching deals on all deal sites (living social, groupon, etc.) and found these two:


Photo booth Groupon 1 (for 4 hrs)

Photo Booth Groupon 2 (NOTE: this one is for 2 - 3 hrs only!)

Both have great reviews on weddingwire and a couple of other sites so they seem to be reputable. The second link makes it seem like they don't serve the long island area but I emailed them and they said they do.

These are the best I could find so far though. There was another living social deal from Gold Rush Event Services but all the reviews said to STAY CLEAR from them /c they are a total ripoff. So if you see a groupon for them in the future - beware. I kind of want to wait to see if another groupon comes up with a better price. Am I crazy for doing that? I hope I don't regret doing that later on! >__<' I just don't want to buy one of these for nearly $600 then see a groupon for like $300 in a few months

Most things I've seen on groupon are around 500-700, so I think you're ok for 600. BUT, they also come around frequently, so you probably have time to wait.
Also, ask your DJ...they might have it, and it might be easier to get a good price if you're also buying a dj package from them.

Make sure you contact them and make sure you can use it for your wedding date. It may expire before.

Ah!!! Great ideas ladies! I asked a friend of the family about photobooth rental since he's a DJ but totally forgot to ask the DJ I'm actually going to use! lol AndI will definitely ask them if the voucher will expire before the date I need it for (great point!).
