What is the average amount people spend on pictures?

About $5K

But 'average' is too vague to get a good estimate for comparison. Some people aren't getting albums, some people have 2 photographers, some people have giant canvas painted enlargements, some have tons of reprints.

Thanks-- I just wanted an idea. I thought that to get a decent amount of pictures and an album (nothing crazy) it would cost about 2-4K and I wanted to make sure that was typical.

We are spending 3K, but there are also nice packages under that and then after the Wedding you can add to it if you want. We are purchasing more parent albums after the Wedding, but did not include them in our package.

Approx $3600. I blew my mind at first, but i realize that it's too important to skimp on & I decided to do a REALLY economical video!

I think your budget is very dependant on what you are looking for. I am spending to close to $5K, but like Stef, I have 2 photographers and over 1000 pr

about 4 ish, however, everyone that I know thast has been married recently says she added to her album one the proofs are in - so I am planning an putting away a bit more just in case.

Also, pictures are VERY important to me so although there are other options/photographers, I went with what I wanted om this one - no compromising.
