Hello Ladies, I am back with another question! My mom was describing a photo favor to me the other day. Someone she works with went to a wedding, and instead of passing out favors at the end, the photographer took a professional picture of the guests during the cocktail hour and reception(individual or group shots, depending on what the guests wanted), and then at the end of the night had it printed for the guests to take home. Has anyone done this or heard of it being done? What do you think? Do you think this is a nice favor? Thank you for all of your help, and Happy New Year!

I had a photographer mention that to me. Our RH has a giant christmas tree that he thought would be cool for people to have their picture in front of. FH really liked the idea but I want something else so we aren't doing it. FM me if you want the price we were quoted.

i've seen this at bar/bat mizvah's, and even at my company holiday party one year.
it's cute, but i'm not sure it's the best favor, necessarily. it's fun to have a memory, but i think a paper frame is not the way to go.
if you had non-paper frames, then maybe ... it gets expensive though.

I think its a cool idea... i would talk to the photogs you are meeting with and ask if thats something they would do...
and make it known to your guests that that is their favor...
another option is the photobooth

i like the photobooth idea ... but i would give some sort of mini-frame (not paper) with that as well

We're getting a photobooth through Party Booths. They've had the best priced packages I've seen.
The favor we're giving is this mini frosted glass frame that holds one of these photobooth pictures perfectly!
i thnk regy_k is having the photographer take pics. i have heard of it before
i went to one banquet where they had a photographer stationed outside of the room with a professional backgrop. the photos werent printed that day, but he gave everyone a card with where they can find the pic online. it was fun and i looked forward to going home and looking online
im doing the photobooth for the wedding and i got picture albums as favors
