Photo Guestbook.

Are any of you doing a photo guestbook? If so, how are you doing it?

Re: Photo Guestbook.

I am going to have a photo guestbook. well i am going to be doing that by one of my friends taking the picture of everyone that comes to my wedding then sign in a book. so that way i know who it is.

That sounds lie a neat idea. Would I have to hire someone to do that separately or could I do it myself. It sounds too technical for me to handle.

We are using an 8x10 from our engagement shoot & putting it in a large matted frame from PB that I registered for (and already got!!)

I was just going to get an elegant scrapbook and use polaroid cameras. I don't think they'll need to be an 'attendant' there. People can take pictures of eachother right? Then I thought they could write right in the scrapbook and after the wedding we could put the photos where we had already blocked off on each page so the photo was near the person's writing. But I wanted to be more creative.

I think I might do one - get a nice book and have each guest get a page and ask them to write a message then when I get the pics developed (digital camera) then I will paste them into it

I'm going to do the matted and framed photo that people sign on. I think that is more memorable than the actual book.

Where and how are you going to do the matted pic? I also like the polariod idea but I want everyone to enjoy their time and not have to wait at the door to take pics. ANy suggestions?

I wanted to do it, but I think it might be difficult with a big wedding. I don't want to have one of my friends missing time during the wedding b/c he or she is busy taking pictures. I have seen it done in the past with a Poloroid and it looked great.

Im thinking about doing this and instead of ruining someone's time at the wedding, I will be asking an outside person to do it. Someone's friend etc

Probably a polariod camera with the shots made into a guest scrapbook sorta

I want to do the Polaroid idea, but FH doesn't like it that much. Plus with 170 people, that kind of expensive. We will see.

Did anyone wind up doing that?
i was wondering who took the pics and what happened & how it worked out...i think this could be better than table cameras...

I'm doing it ... don't know about the attendant yet though... could be a disaster without out one... at least in my family...

jimmysbide - Where are you getting those albums from? I want to do a picture album for my cousin's shower.

I haven't decided yet... I've been looking into the Kolo Albums though... I really like the Newbury Album...

The kolo books are fabulous. I am new to this whole scrapbooking thing. Dom at 12th Night showed us a scrap book with black and white photojornalistic proofs inside and it was so elegant and pretty. So I am going to make some for us with my extra proofs. These are the best looking ones I have seen. I saw some albums in borders and Michaels but they were just ok. So for all you scrapbookers out there what do I need to put the pictures on the page? Do the photocorners have sticky stuff on them already? HELP!
