Ditto. I much prefer the shots that are in the moment as opposed to the formal portraits. I do understand that they have to be taken but I want to have the choice. It wasn't that much more money to get the second photographer for us.

Re: Photo journalist?
I'm having two photographers and they are both photojournalistic. I only want a handful of standard posed shots.

Re: Photo journalist?
I think most photographers should be able to do both well. No need to have two, esp. if you're wedding isn' so big.

Re: Photo journalist?
my photographer will do some posed photos, but will mainly shoot the natural, in the moment pics we want. I am pretty excited about having her do our event.

I don't understand why these companies make you spend extra money if you want photojournalistic. But, hey...whatever.
My photographer is PHOTOJOURNALISTIC so I didn't have to hire a second photographer or pay extra for that genre.

That's because they have a specialty...Marianela's is photjournalistic and unfortunately she's not that good with 'posed' shots...so if you want those, make sure it is arranged in advance and detailed. I'm sure you've spoken to her past brides and know this.
We had two photographers...and while one was the main photographer and arranged the 'traditional' shots, they were both amazing photojournalists and my day was captured and sort of 'documented' from beginning to end. Very happy with both...pictures in my review... It wasn't extra to get a 'photojournalist' it was just extra to get a second photographer, which I wanted because I needed 16 hour coverage.

I am still deciding, but I think we will need two. My FH will not sit still for too many pictures and I am hoping that it will all go faster with 2 photographers.

Thanks for clarifying Sasha! Nope, we didn't want any of those posed pictures, if we want any, they'll be very minimal at most! We wanted a photographer that basically 'was out of mind, out of site and does their own thing' and reflecting so in the pictures!
