so i wanted our engagement photos to be on the beach, but the suggested that the pictures be taken at 7pm so there could be a sunset in the photos. since we are flying in for the session and it has to be during the week, it would force my FH to take 2 days off of work which he doesn't want to do. sooo in the spirit of compromising i am willing to give up the beach location to do a day shoot, but i have no idea where else to look into. does anyone have any suggestions for beautiful locations in suffolk county??

i honestly don't have a particular look in mind.. i just want pretty photos of me and Adam. we will be taking the photos in August. I will be in the west islip area- so i am willing to drive a little bit (maybe 30-45 mins)

Definitely Avalon... that's where I took mine last June (I have some of the pics in my album). We did ours in the afternoon... I want to say 1 or 2pm?

try the Planting Fields Arboretum in Long Island. no fees and gorgeous shots to be had! i took them there and they are a beautiful backdrop
