Im still in sweet 16 mode as my daughters sweet 16 is January 2015.She is getting the Photo Montage. My wedding is May 2015, Is this standard at weddings also? She is also getting zap shots,is that also a popular wedding item as well? So different,hers is all inclusive,mine is not,I have to say hers is MUCH easier!!

we're not- i associate it with sweet 16s and therefore didn't want it at my wedding.. I think having photos on loop of the two of you is one thing, but I'm just not a fan of having to stop the reception and have everyone watch a photo montage video- everyone's taste is different though, so if you like the way your daughter's montage comes out on that night and you want to do the same for your wedding, then go for it!

my photo montage will be shown at dinner not actually stopping the party so that is always another option. I was worried about them stopping the party and that was our solution

I haven't been to a wedding in years so I wasn't sure...I think its cute but I think like above poster dinner is a good idea for it!! But I don't think my budget may allow!

I was all for it, and was going to do what Kristin said, which is basically the only way I have seen it done at weddings! I actually really love seeing them when I am there, with the baby pics and the pics together. But now, I am second guessing myself and kind of agree with cets. Ugh decisions
ETA- Its funny to see how your taste change, b/c at first I wanted the photo montage and was against the percussionist playing, but now I am thinking nay to photo and yay to percussionist...ugh indecisive!

I know what you mean!! Im sorry I hope I didn't make it more confusing,because I do the same I read on here and I do the same thing. lol...I think during dinner is nice, during my daughters sweet 16 they stop the party for it so that I wouldn't do, but I also wonder(maybe I can get an opionon) my FH mom died 2 year ago and its still really raw and its already going to be emotional for him, don't want to make it harder for him.

Do you mind FM-ing me what it costs to have them supply the screens? We're using them too, but didn't know if it would be too over the budget to have them provide the screens so I can do a montage.
