I was originally thinking about having our wedding photos at OWG. does anyone have any other suggestions that will still have the same dramatic effect as OWG? Im up for some really unique different places as well as traditional gardens.

Re: Photo Op's besides OWG?
i was having this same problem. i em my photographer and this is what she sent me.
There is another mansion on the north shore that isn't often used by brides (just because it's lesser known and the grounds aren't quite as ornamental- still good for a shoot tho!), but you can definitely arrange to use the inside- http://www.sandspointpreserve.org/ the main building (Hempstead House) is almost entirely empty (ie, no roped off rooms full of antiques) and you can shoot almost anywhere (mostly it's used for tv/movies- I'm told the TV show 'Kings,' the movie 'Great Expectations'- the one with Ethan Hawke, and The Godfather shot scenes there). It's a little more expensive than Plantingfields, but worth it for the inside option, which is very, very cool!
