PHOTO POSTING LESSON!!

Ok ladies, a lot of us are new, a lot of us haven't figured it out and a lot of us just don't care.

But here's a lesson in photo posting on LIW.

**If your photo is saved to your computer:**

Sometimes, when you attach photos from your computer's hard drive, a photo is too big. You can use the resizer, which appears as a link right next to the forum mail link. Follow the directions and make sure you can access your email account.

Sometimes, photos are the wrong format. .bmp and .png will not post. only .jpeg and .gif

f you download IRFANVIEW you can use this program to resize or reformat a photo. Save it again as a new file to your hard drive and then try to attach the newly saved image.

**IF your photo is already hosted on some site like Facebook:**
1)right click on the photo on Facebook (or other site)

2) click properties

3) copy the web address where it says 'address (URL)'

4) In your new LIW post, click on 'Insert Web image'. IT's in the menu underneath all the smilies.

5) paste the URL you copied from Facebook. The photo should post with no problem.

THIS part eliminates you having to save pictures from FB on your harddrive first and then browsing your hard drive and attaching them. That's a lot of extra work.

I hope this helps someone. I've noticed a lot of photo sharing difficulty lately.

Thank you so much! I will save this in my notebook since I just learned how to do that. I missed so many other good posts because I didn't even know you could do this before . I need LIW for dummies

I just use photobucket load the pic and then copy the IMG code and insert it into the post just another way to insert pics.
