We went to meet with the photogropher tonight to make all of our final arrangements and they mentioned that since we have a large bridal party 17 in total and about 150-175 guests that we should add a photojournalist. My question is did anybody else have this and was it worth the money? My FH thinks we should add it and my mom says no and i'm on the fence.
I would add one. I personally really like the style, but also you have a plan B. My friend was married at Land's End... beautiful reception and everyone had a great time. She hired 2 photographers. The one that followed her and her DH and BP around was terrible. He cut off the tops of their heads in many pictures. The other photographer was able to capture some of them, but a lot of great pics from the party. Its always great to have 2...if you can afford it...I would do it.
my bridal party is larger than that and im only having one. i went to a wedding in aug and the bridal party was larger than urs as well, and they had one.

I would add the extra photographer because after all is said and done the only thing you have left from the wedding are the pictures! If you have 2 photographers they can capture many more moments than the one. Plus I am a huge fan of candid shots and that is a photojournalist's claim to fame!

I hired a photojournlasitc photographer and am still having 2 photogs. She brings an assistant. Its def worth having 2 (IMO). You will get more of a variety of pics.
my package includes to photographers... i suggust not paying for a second one... if mine wasn't included i wouldn't oay for a second one
Thanks for the opinions girls.... I think we will stick with the one photogropher and I wanted to do disposables on the tables. I would like to add the extra photog but money is tight and I think i would rather use it towards something else. I got FH on board with the disposables...
