photo question about proofs

From what I know proofs are what you get that have numbers on them and they come in an album. And then you ask for the ones you actually want. Here are the questions:

1) Do you have to pay extra for the actual pics or is that usually in the price.

2) Do you usually get another album with the actual pics.

I think it depends on your contract- mine is that I get all proofs, a wedding album with 50 pics, 2 parent albums with 24 pics, and a couple other prints of varying size-- all pics are selected from the proofs.

My proof did not come in an albums, i never heard of
anyone having proof albums. They were in 2 boxes.

1. The proofs are mine and they are free. The number of pictures that go
into my album was decided when we signed the contract. So no
i already paid everything. I have no additional charges

2. After i pick the proofs i like they are put into an album

My proofs came in an album with an order sheet in btw each page. all my proofs were include in my package, and the proofs I chose were place into my album. Everything was all include in the price.

Our proofs came in an album and were included in our initial price as was our album. For us, the parent's albums are additional $$$.
