How many pics is your photographer re-touching and editing??? I was under the impression they did them all! Then I met with someone this weekend and he said he only edits 20, and THEN only if I buy an album. Please advise!! I'm going crazy with the photogs. This (after hall) is the hardest thing to choose!!
i honestly have no idea how many pics were retouched. I knew ahead of time my photographer retouches alot of pics. When i got proofs i had over 800 so didnt count to see about how many. Many pics though i was given the original version and the retouched version of it. But definitely more than 20 pics. It depends on your photographer though, some love using photoshop to edit pics and others dont. So you can find others who will retouch alot of them but no not EVERY pic is retouched.
As I recall from a friends wedding, the proofs they got were unretouched but they would get album photos retouched and photos that were ordered were also retouched (like if FMIL orders a bunch in addition to the album). But I have no idea if this is part of everyone's standard package or if they paid extra for this.
