If you are looking for photo under $3k, then Sherwood Triart is most likely well out of that range. I never visited them but I did a search for them on this website and from other members' threads, I could tell they are very pricey.
Fine A** (if that is who you are talking about) is blocked on this website. I personally was turned off by that and didn't visit them.
I don't know anything about Duval.
You could definitely get a photo only package from Patken for $3k or under.
Also, you may want to try Duet and Thomas Paul.. They're very well known and reasonable as well.
I'm using F I N E A R T and VERY happy so far. They're extremely helpful and their albums look beautiful. However, their price range is a little closer to Sherwood Triart. I don't think they're as expensive but def more than the quotes for other photogs I've seen on this site unfortunately. Good luck!
I loved Sherwood Triart but they were too expensive we ended up going with Silverfox the cost for the photographer alone is only $1500 (we booked in '08). They will let you customize your package based on what you want. So far they have been great to work with.
I can't help with either but I LOVE J'adore Love Photography. They are so creative and such sweet people and they definately have packages within you budget. I have some pics in my album from my e-pics. If you need prices FM me...I have a list.
it depends on whether or not u want albums... sherwood triart quoted us at 14k and their pkg barely gave us ANYTHING, but the quality was awesome!!!! velvet studios was pretty reasonable, they were around the 4-5K range, again depending on how many albums u need..i think they had lower pgs too, u might want to check them out, and their quality was good (hey, their no sherwood but their within budget!!!)
also, keep in mind, u may not have the money in ur budget to splurge on photography but after ur wedding u migh have more money to throw in that direction. besides most photography/videography places will let u carry over a balance until u pick up ur proofsor video. the place we went with is located in jersey (KJH studios) their amazing! and u get alot for ur buck, theyre letting us carry over a 2500$ balance..which is awesom, we an def pay that AFTER the wedding.
remember u can always upgrade ur photo/video pkg after the wedding...so dont go crazy trying to find the cheapest place...
