I am from Queens so I am not familiar with Lindenhurst. I am having my reception at Chateau la Mer in April 2008. We are looking into Limo companies, so when we call i want to be able to tell all the stops that we would like to make. Where are some good scenic places to take photos near Chateau la Mer? Thanks for your input!

You could go to Venetian Shores in Lindenhurst which is right on the beach on the bay to take pictures. Or, since your at CLM which is already on the bay, if you want to change it up a bit, you could go to Argyle Park which is right on Montauk Hwy in Babylon, probably not even 5 mins. from CLM. There's also a gazebo with gardens (small though) right in Lindenhurst village on Wellwood Ave.

I had the same question and we found that there is the Venetian shores literally 3 minutes from CLM> You can actually see the roof top of CLM from the shore line. Also right across the street from Black forest bakery there is a gazeebo that we will be taking pics at. If you look at NYbrides album she has some great pics just on the dock that have given me so ideas on what I would like to have. Also remeber that they also have a gazeebo and waterfall on premise and the landscaping is pretty nice there as well.
If that is the place going east of CLM on Montauk Hwy... that is a beautiful place. I was going to say that park. I love the water and those staircases.

def would say Argyle Park .. it is close to the CLM and very nice background ... venetian is also a good place too .. its the beach so how can you not like

i DEFINATELY would say not ARGYLE. This place is nothing worthy of your time or energy. But, I know there is a park in AMITTYVILLE that is nice so you could have greenery pics and then the sound pictures from CLM. The park is Pearsal Park on Bayview Ave in Amittyville. Instead of driving past the CLM to argyle, just stop at the park instead!

I went to argyke park last week to check it out and I have to say there was NO goosepoop at all on the walk ways and very little on the actual grass.
It was a c rappy day out but I think it will be great to take pictures... I have the pics in my album.

I used Sir Oliver Limos for $700. I had 2 limos for 3 hours, which was plenty. We took our pics on the docks next to Chateau La Mer and they came out awesome with the water and boats in the backround.

I used Sunt Farmingdale - They the a horticultural garden and its beautiful..... Nice flowers and lots of greenery.....

Partly and Velvet knew the Arboretum would be a prettier place for pics!

Your pics look great---- doesn't look like a problem with the goose poop at all anymore I would just keep an eye on it as the spring, summer goes on---your day is so close -YEAH!!!!
