Re: Photo Timing
Disclaimer...we don't want to see each other before the ceremony and we have time bwtn our ceremony and reception as our cocktail hour doesn't start until 7. I didn't want to get my hair and makeup done too early considering I will be in the spotlight until 2-3am!

Hey ladies,

I think about 2-2.5 hrs. We haven't decided yet, but that sounds about right. Ceremony starts at 7pm, and we want to do the pictures somewhere outside of the RH.

Re: Photo Timing
We have them coming 2 hours before. We are not seeing each other before but we also have a 2 hour gap between Church and CH to take pics so loads of time.

Re: Photo Timing
I think it really depends on how long you have your photographer for and what you want them to capture. Our ceremony started at 530pm but we were doing the traditional Groom pick up bride and bridal door games prior at noon. But we also did not want to miss any cake cutting, parent dances, etc at the end of the night. So we bumped her hours up quite a bit to catch all that.
We did sacrifice the getting ready pictures at the salon but we have some of our own non-pro ones. And she was with us at the venue when I changed into my white wedding dress so it's all good!

Re: Photo Timing
Well we are seeing each other before. Our ceremony starts at 7pm and we have the Ketubah signing beforeat 6:30ish I suppose.
I am getting hair and makeup done earlier in the day at a salon, but will be getting ready at the place. My photographer mentioned 2:30, but this seems very early to me. Just trying to figure it all out.

Re: Photo Timing
My photog came to my house at 2, ceremony started at 6:30. It prob was enough time, but I felt rushed because dealing with my family is utter chaos!
