Photo/ Video Question

Photo/ Video Question

Hi ladies... quick question...

How many pics are you getting in your wedding album, and how many pages is it? I think mine is 30 pages. Is that okay?

Also, my place says the final video will be 1 hour 20 minutes. Is that long enough? SHould I ask for the raw footage?

Thank you!

Re: Photo/ Video Question

i am getting about 30 pictures in my album but i know i will add more once my proofs are in. Typically its cheaper to add on after you book them because they will make a deal with you since its the last attempt to get money.

I got the same video - basically - slide show of kid pics then goes into a recap of the day. It might even be shorter but I did get all the raw footage. I rather have that then the video in the end. My man of honor/best friend does video editing and shooting for a living so he is going to mix me a second version of the video with all the goofy stuff on it. SO Say yes to raw footage - never know what you might see in the future that you would want.

I think 30 pages sounds about right, I think we are getting around that. . . . and I would ask for the raw footage.

Who did you meet with?

I met with Eric from Duet, but he has such a strong accent he's very hard to understand... and his answers are sometimes vague. I just want to make sure I ask for everything I should!

Thank you! I feel a little better!

30 pages sounds about normal. I can't for the life of me remember what ours is! Have to check the contract...

I felt the same way when I met Eric and I'm pretty good with acccents, considering my mother has a strong accent in english and I used to do translation at a hospital a long time ago.

I found it easier to get answers to my remaining questions by emailing [email protected].

We're meeting with them again this Thurs. but now I feel better equiped.

Re: Photo/ Video Question

My album is 40 pages (so ~80 photos). We were worried about wanting to put more photos in the album, but we're getting the photos on a cd, so we'll have them printed elsewhere and put more photos in a separate photo album.

Also, regarding the raw footage, that was a big thing in my book. I'm having a traditional Greek wedding ceremony which is 1 hour alone, plus I hope there will be a lot of dancing at the reception, so I know not everything will make it onto the final dvd. I am getting the raw footage just so I have everything captured on video.
