So FH and I found out that our DJ does the photobooth and it is reasonable and we can swing it. But, here is my question do you think it will take away from the reception/dancing or it will be something fun for everyone to do?

Re: Photobooth
At TWOTY, many people incuding myself left the actual reception to go and use the photobooth... I think it takes away from the wedding so im gonna go with no on this one

this is the only reason holding me back from doing it also! i really want this, but dont want people leaving. maybe do it during cocktail hour, or a restricted time during RH to have it open? but then whats the point cause ur paying for it for the 4 hours...so i dunno lol

Re: Photobooth
I'd rather spend the money somewhere else. I think people will be more into the photobooth than the wedding.

Re: Photobooth
I wish I could get it done. I was worried about it being a distraction also. But I would love to do it and can't afford it but think you should do it!

I definitiely feel that there is a better way to use that money!! although it seems like a fun idea you want people to stay and enjoy the party!!!

Re: Photobooth
we got one christine...I actually think it was great at TWOTY. I dont think it took away...maybe people left at TWOTY because of hte contest and cause they didnt know the bride and groom? I dont really see anyone leaving at ours.

I think it can take away from the reception. I was going to do one... but it's too much of a destraction. Many people talked me out of it... Maybe for our 25 year anniversary we'll do it . LOL

Re: Photobooth
I went to a wedding last week with one. It was the first wedding that I've been to where there was one. I have mixed feelings about it. I was interested for my own but am not sure now. You had to wait on line and I didn't want to wait. I was worried that my food was going to be taken away while I was waiting. I feel like it is more of a distraction than I imagined it would be. Not sure what I will do.

agreed! I dont really think its a distraction though...people are going to be having such a good time that they arent going to need to do more than one photo! Just one for the scrap book and then they are done!

Re: Photobooth
I like the idea and we are having one! I think if you make sure the booth is close to the action it won't be a problem.

Re: Photobooth
It's a GREAT Idea!!! Do it!!! I keep tossing the idea in the air for our reception... but I think it'll come down to if we have extra $$ or not.
