Photobooth Disagreement with FH - Anyone else?

Is anyone else's FH giving them crap about a photobooth? I really want to have one and am talking to a vendor that has a great package that includes DOC and a photobooth for an amazing price. FH is saying that he hates them and that no one will use it. GRRRRR!

Same...FH doesn't want it..so we went with zap shots...he didn't think it was worth the extra expense...I want a DOC too and he doesn't want that either...so we shall see if I can wiggle may way around it!

I was lucky enough that when I told him the idea he LOVED it! So he was willing to do anything to get it. Right now we only have it for 2 hours, but if our budge allows we want it for more time. He's mad that we don't have the big huge one to jam more people in it. It's plenty big. lol

As far as the DOC he didn't get it either until we went to the meeting, and once we met with them he was like you need one. Since he knows I'm pretty much planning on my own with help from my mom. Go see one, and maybe he will change his mind on both.

We are using the photobooth as favors, so say it will save money on extra favors if it's about cost. Everyone likes pictures!

Opposite problem here, I absolutely refuse to have one at the wedding but FH thinks its a good idea. Just talk it out and eventually you will come to a compromise

Sometimes u get a deal if u pair it with something else. We were able to get it because we paired with our dj package. So saves money that way

FH is totally against it. We went to a wedding where no one was on the dance floor and everyone was on line for the photobooth. he hated that. I agree but I so want it... a girl can dream

Fh had the same argument. No one is gonna use them blah blah blah. Then there was one at a wedding we went to last week. Now he loves the idea seeing how everyone used it. Are u looking at Big Apple??

I think photobooths are a cute idea, but I totally understand not wanting one. I sort of don't want one, even though I love photobooths! The #1 reason was that I didn't want people distracted from the dance floor. This isn't a bar, it's a wedding.

It was the opposite problem for me...fh was dead set on having one....I was ok with it....we are now using it for our favors

Ive been to two sweet 16s that had them and although you cant compare a sweet 16 to a wedding here is my honest opinion. None of the older guests will use it. If your fam is like mine.. ur lucky if they get up for the venitian hour! With that said, mainly your friends and the younger crowd will use it so if you think that you have a young lively crowd who will make use of it then go for it bc it is a nice touch and pictures are cute as hell... one more thing, it is kind of distracting bc alot of ppl were like lining up at the booth and everyone was going over like whats goin on over there and it did take away from the dancing, very slightly. Just my opinion, hope it helps.
