Re: PhotoBooth opinion
I am having something like a photo booth.
The company is called themaineventonline.com
They bring like a background in a color you pick and they set up a little spot where they take pictures and you can choose what frame, keychain, or magnet you would like.
You get them right then and there
They packages run different prices depending which package you pick

hey ladies, for how long did you have the photobooth for? and did it price by the hour? i'm just worried that with the amount of people that we have invited, i might have to pay extra hours.

I really want a photoboth but we don't have room for it in the budget right now I think they really make a wedding special, especially if you get silly hats and props for it!

Re: PhotoBooth opinion
We're doing it and we're keeping it a surprise - even from our families - until the day of the wedding. I think we're paying about $1700 and that includes double prints so the guests can put a copy of their pictures in an album that we'll have set up there and a CD with all the images on it. I'm soooo excited about it!

Re: PhotoBooth opinion
We also booked with partybooths.com
I got the larger booth for 6 hours. Our wedding is 5.5 hours. We also did the guestbook option. You get a CD of the pics and also there is a website with password that the guests can go to and see all the pics. A guy is there as well to help operate it. Our total was $1500. If you need it to be less you can have it for 3 hours and also get a smaller booth.... and you can even opt to not have the guestbook option. We just wanted everything they had.
I def recomend it. I think it will be fun... and it also gets people up and walking around ... which is great for the non-dancers.

Re: PhotoBooth opinion
I definitely understand the arguments aginst it...it's cheesy, where would it go, etc..but I still plan on having a photobooth if I can afford it. I think it's original, it's a lot of fun for guests and it gives them a favor and gives us a really unique and fun guest book. I'm really into it.

I am going to do this. For me, it is important enough to fit into the budget. It is fun and different, and I like the guestbook idea.

It could be alot of fun. At first I wanted one...but I decided not to bother. Aside from the cost factor, I want our friends and family on the floor dancing- not in the photobooth!

To be honest, this wasnt a concern AT ALL. We were worried but everyone LOVED the photo bootha nd the dance floor was packed the entire night! DO IT! You won't regret it!

Re: PhotoBooth opinion
My son just got married this past Sunday. We had a photo booth and it was great! It was worth the extra money. We got it through our DJ for $1200, but I think you could probably do much better. One thing-- one of the bridesmaids told me that they ran out of space in the book for the second set of photos for the bride and groom--so the guy just gave guests BOTH sets. I would recommend buying an extra book at Michael's (when there's a sale!) and having it ready. Also, we did not have it as a favor-- some people took multiple shots with different people and some didn't do it at all. To be honest-- if we were rich, we would have had two. It REALLY added to the fun!
