photog question

ok.. soooo lets say ur photog takes 1000 pix...and sends them to u..

but your album is only 24 pix...

does ur photog edit just 24 pix that u select?

I have no f k n idea - I am so lost.....I have 4 different proposals on my desk here and I have no idea what I am reading.....I know they do retouching (teeth whitening, under eye marks, etc) but I have no idea if they will only do that for the pics that go in my album and the parent albums or ALLLLLL of them......I have to call.....let me know if you figure it out

I think they only edit the ones that they give you and all the other ones remain untouched.

With my photographer they take 1500 pictures (let's just say) and then choose the best 500 ones. Then they only touch-up and edit those 500 for you.

Same here... but also if out of the other 1000 you like some that havn't been retouched they will do it for free.

ITA and then you get all the pictures on CDs and you can do whatever with them like bring them to CVS and print more or retouch them yourself.

I just called one of my 'potential' photogs.....

this is what she said.....

about 2 weeks after we get married, we get an entire album of 5x5 of every single pic they took at the wedding.....if lets say FH cut himself shaving and he has a nick or I have a pimple on my face the day of the wedding (which knowing my luck would happen), they retouch that because they are most certain I am not going to want to have that showing up on the 5x5 proofs....

From there, we pick our album pics and the parent album pics......After we review the proofs, we can ask them to edit and retouch as much or little as we ask them to, whether they are in the album or not, before they release us the DVD with all the pics....

soooooo, answer to your question. No, they can retouch any pic you tell them to that they haven't done already. They generally don't retouch TOO much because some people don't want everything redone......thank goodness for blemish retouching and teeth whitening!!!!!!!!!!

i couldve sworn doug said that all would be retouched.

and i think will has skin cancer but refuses to go see the dermatologist til after the wedding. im soo angryyyyyyyyyy but he has this 'pimple' on his face.

STOP!!!!!!!! You're so mean LOL....whos your photog?? call him and ask?? if they say no, tell them to throw it in for free....I thikn most photos now a days will retouch it for free...... my head hurts

lol i live up the block from u!!.. like 10.. but still.. maybe pops got good vision lolol

tell him you are really concerned for potential skin cancer issues and you really want him to go, and you will go with him!!!

3000 PROOFS!!!!!!! What the hell are you going to do with all those pix. What are they going to be taking pix of? Holy $hit........I would go nuts going over all those photos. 3000 PROOFS!!!!!!!!

So your photographer is shooting 3000 proofs for 60 keepers & you have to go thru 3000 to pick 60 Good luck, have fun.
