Re: Photographer?
I think that if you know who you want and they are popular or you are getting married on a Sat and depending what time of year (sorry I didn't check your date before I responded) the you should do it when you find one. No use in waiting when you know who you want b/c you might miss out.

we haven't been anywhere yet...we don't know who to go check out. We got a complimentry engagement picture thru the North Ritz with one of there photographers (who have been calling me non stop, they are so annoying) so we were thinking of checking them out...but I don't know anywhere else
ETA - Now I am getting scared that I am waiting to long

Re: Photographer?
It's okay. I booked my photographer in March for this October. We are using Twelfth Night - and they are great. They aren't one of the house vendors for the NR, but I figured they were worth paying for their dinner. They offer a free engagement shoot if you book w/ them - and they aren't annoying! Here's their website www.twelfthnightphoto.com

ooppsss ~ silly me! Yes, everything is fine. Thanks for asking. I do most of my postings at work and I've been busy here so I really haven't had a chance to come on and post. But I'm back Baby!!!

Re: Photographer?
I booked mine 4/04 for 7/06. The advantage to this is paying 2004 prices in 2006.

Re: Photographer?
If you are a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday wedding and are looking at well known/popular photographers, then, I don't think you can ever book too early.

I visited Sherwood Triart. Much of their work is very photojournalistic. Have you checked out their website? Sherwood Triart If you do a search on the boards you'll find out more about them. I have their price list at home. If you are interested I can FM you tomorrow.
