I just started researching photographers and came across 4 that I was going to look at. Has anyone heard anything about Patken, George Pliakis, ADA Studio or Duet. I would love any comments or advice. We are on a budget and I do not know who is considered reasonable and who is pricey. I also did not know if I wanted to have a video. Do you think it is necessary to have one?

Re: Photographer
You may want to 'search' the boards for the honest reviews of each of them. Good luck!

To answer your question yes, I think it is necessary to have a video I recently received my video around thanksgiving and I fell in love with it. Your wedding day will go by so fast you will not remember a thing trust me. Pictures are wonderful , but a video is a must have. For example,my DH uncle pass away in 2004 his sister got married in 1999 that was the last time they saw him well before he got sick. It was great that his sister had a videographer that capture the moment when he was well now family members have request copies of her wedding DVD. If you like I have a wonder videographer and he will not cost you an arm or a leg FM.
