How much is the average photographer? Not including video just pictures.

Depends on who you go with and what you want included...For the photog's I saw i was quoted between 2500-6000 for a bunch of different packages

those are about the same prices i was quoted

i'm paying $3800 with my photographer

I just got prices from Amanda Picone. She has package deals and you can customize them as well. All her packages include a 2 hour engagement session too. They start about $1100. Fm me for more details.

im going with Marco Photography and for the platinum package (the one im getting) its $4300 ithink??

it includes a million and one things, lol, and also he includes an engagement session

the next package down from that was about $3800 and he has a few other cheaper ones too

Try Erica Lyn Photography she has packages less then 2.3K. She is really great and takes beautiful pictures.

I have been quoted between 1700 to about 5000 for the photographers I researched. It's less expensive to have the photographer shoot the entire day and put the photo's on a CD. It's the albums that make it expensive.

I am using Alex Basin (alexbasin.com) and he charges $2000. I think he's fantastic.
also try amanda picone. we met with her as well, she is super nice, and she's got great packages for great prices!

it really ranges depending on what you want in your package. i am paying a little under 6k but im also getting a digital album, parent albums, thank yous, 2 photographers, e pics w/ epic album, all proofs, a few other portrait sizes (like 11x17 etc,) plus video & dvds.

ETA: if i didn't do video it would have been around 4k.

it really depends on what you want in your package and what kind of photography your looking for.... honestly the ones ive seen are from 4000 to 8000 but this is the one area that i want to spend more than others, its just really important to me

I've seen from 2000 - 6000.

On average, with an album made and a few 'extras' I've gotten quotes between 3000-4000.

I couldnt agree more - my future in laws think I am crazy - but i am a HUGE picture person. After all is said and done, besides memories - you have the pictures to remember the day (and video too)
