I don't know where to start in my search for a photographer, this is one of the few things that my FH wants to be a part of. We are looking for someone artistic, we love candids and photo journalism. Thanks for your help ladies!!

i'm sending u info thru FM on DUET.....They are so awesome and I just got my epics back.. they are in my album.. We worked with Alberto..... They are all awesome though....When we met with them we met with the owner Eric who threw in so much. Meet with him if u can. He's very shy but tell him what u want and he throws it in without u even have to ask.... Good luck!

DEF check out Imagine Studios. I am booked with them. Lia, the photographer, is so sweet and their work is absolutely phenomenal. Their photos don't really have a 'modern' look to them...they look more soft and romantic, which is the look I wanted when searching for a photographer. They do both photojournalistic and traditional photos.

I think its important to look at proofs of past brides for samples of work because on photographer websites and when you meet with them they may only be showing you their best work. I've looked at a ton of photos from past Imagine Studio brides on LIW and their photos are amazing. Check out the photos for missingthebgene for a sample. Her photos are amazing!

Here is the website for Imagine Studios:

FM me if you have any questions! They are my fav vendor so far!!!!!

LOL, I know everyone is going to recommend whomever they booked, which isn't a bad thing, but I have to tell you... I haven't booked a photog yet and I will recommend THomas Paul. I've been all over LIW looking at girls photography, mostly on the bride's review, and almost every time I say to myself, wow her photos are AMAZING, I love the style, it's a Thomas Paul Bride.

So take all of these suggestions with a grain of salt. I think the best advice you'll get is to look at the Bride's Review forum, look at all the photos and find the girls with the style of photos you really like... and see if there's a common thread in there.

Photog seems like a daunting task, partly why I haven't booked yet. Good luck!

lol I agree with that. We all picked our photographers for different reasons that were important to us.

But hey use my photographer anyway. He's cool lol :)

But in all seriousness, if you want info on the photographer I'm using, let me know.
