We are going on our first photographer meeting this weekend! I'm very excited but I was wondering if anyone has any advice on things to make sure to ask. I already know what I want in the way of packages, and I am going to get some information on having a second shooter, but I'm not really sure what other important questions I should have.
Thanks!

Re: Photographer?
Ask to see a sample of album with photos from 1 wedding. Some photogs will show you a sample of photos from various weddings. I didn't want to just look at the one or two best photos from multiple weddings. I felt looking at the pics from just one wedding would give me a better sense of their work.
Don't assume things are included just because it seems standard from what other photogs may include. For example, make sure how many thank yous you'll be getting. Are they printed on card stock, or is it the kind that you slip a picture into. Are engagement pics included? If so, are they on location or in a studio? How many pics will you get? Will you have a lighting asst. for the e-pics?
How many hours will you get on the day of? Will the photog stay with you until the end of the reception or will you just get a certain number of hours?
When they show you albums, keep an eye out for how many special effects there are -- for example photos that are mostly black and white with only a few elements in color, metallic pages, etc. Find out how much those extras will cost.
If you're looking at a company, will you be able to meet the photographer you'd be using before booking? You will be spending a lot of time with your photog on your wedding day. You want to make sure you will get along with him/her.
What is the delivery time for proofs, thank yous and albums.
