Am I so behind on getting a photographer? I haven’t started looking or anything! How much does one range from? I see a lot of girls booked with Duet..are they crazy $$$??

We chose Duet because of their work and the price was right. We are on a pretty tight budget and I was very happy with the packages they had to offer.

I don't think you are far behind at all. You have a good amount of time to pick all of your major vendors. I met with Duet and they are reasonably priced but I ended up booking John at Photography In Style! His work is beautiful!!

I think AVG price for photos are 5k. You can go below depending on the albums, hours, and # of photographers wanted. And of course you can always go up lol.

We went with Patken for Photo and Video.. got a great price for quite a large package.

We are booked with Duet and I think their pricing is great! We are getting everything we wanted for way less than I thought possible.

Lighthouse Photography is definitely worth looking into. I met with Florio and he had a wonderful personality and beautiful work. Lighthouse offered the most for my money out of every photographer I looked into. If you need any information FM me.

Honestly, i felt DUET was insanely expensive and they did not budge on the price AT ALL.... they werent very personable when we went in there... I just called the other day to discuss more options, and they didn't have my 'file' and wanted me to come back in - UM NO...
I contacted a few others and so far no luck! FM if you wanna find out who & stuff....
Crossing my fingers because I have an appt with Thomas Paul next week and I am really hoping he is the one!!! We spoke over the phone and he sounds really cool!

Thomas Paul - and yes - he is cool - LOL. Very down to earth, normal person - You're not a number when you book with him-very patient, very personable - Love him to death!!!!!!!!!!! Waiting on my proofs!!!!!!!!!

Im sorry, i dont wanna make anyone feel bad or anything - dont get me wrong, their work was amazing, i just didnt feel the personality.... to me, i felt like more of a number than a person when i went. Who knows, maybe i just went on an 'off' day! But when i went it was like, the guy kept pressuring us to leave a deposit - like a car salesman and that turned me off.....

ITA! We used Jay's team. We booked them just under a year out so you're right on schedule.
