hi ladies! i am new to this all this crazy wedding planning.. im looking for a photographer and vidographer who is decently priced.. also can anyone tell me about what they cost? as you can all tell im clueless and im counting on you girls to help me.. thank in advance! (p.s. is it true i can possibly get a better price if i was to book them seperately?)

I don't know about booking them seperate, I would assume that if they were to offer you both services, they would be cheaper. Just my thoughts.
I am going with Marco Photography (Marcophotoinc.com) and the package we choose was bout $3,000. We aren't doing video but I think the video they have is one price, and its $1745. We also got a heavy discount b/c the woman I work with, her son is dating his daughter and they know the family so he helped me out tremendously. Even though I got a great deal I still shopped around. I went to Bella, some other photographer , and I just didn't like what they had to offer.
1) The payment plans were scary. With Marco, I pay 3/4 of everything the day of the wedding. Then when we get our proofs or w/e we pay the rest then, I liked that b/c I felt like we both had something to loos if one screwed the other ya know?
2) I just think marco's work is beautiful and I ABSOLUTELY love his digital photos album.

I used Noelle P Wilson for photographs- dont have my proofs yet, but my engagement pics came out beautiful- in my album- she was very reasonable and I used Halo for video- got a package for under $1k
