photographer ASAP

My Fiance & I are having a 'Nikkah' in exactly a month ...my FH is muslim, parents from Pakistan, so we are doing their traditional ceremony this November before our American wedding in 2013. This ceremony & reception was quickly put together, doing the ceremony at his parents house with just immediate family and then going to a catering hall for a mini reception. We are looking for an available photographer but one that isn't priced for $4,000+. We aren't treating this as our wedding since I want our wedding in 2013 to be our true wedding, but his parents do want a photographer for this ...however I don't need a person for 8 hrs, probably not even 6 but everytime I talk to a photographer they are kind of treating this as a regular wedding and ask for over 3,000 off the bat ...anyways i'm so confused and really don't know what to do :(

any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Are you looking just for a photographer that will take pix and put them on a CD or are you looking for an album also? If you aren't looking for an album you can check out Gina Esposito. She has a pckg for $1000 that I believe is for 6 hours. Also, check out Fade to Black, he has a package well under $2000 for straight shoot with photos on a CD and an engagement shoot. Maybe he can custom this for you and take out the e-shoot and it will be even less.
