can someone please give me an estimate of what an average photographer costs for the day? i don't know where to start with the people i'm speaking to to know what is reasonable. thanks!!

I have seen ranges from $2500 to $8K
most I saw were arounf $4K- but it dpends what you are talking about
mine is $3700 for 2 photogs and a ton of prints , 3 albumns etc
I think this was misleading- I have 1 reg photog, 1 photo jouranalist and 1 assisant

I have a similar package and mine is $2499. So you really have a large range in pricing.

$5000 for 2 photographers, 2 parent albums, our album,some enlargements, thanks yous, and at least 1200 proofs. Oh and also our engagement shoot was included with that which had 375 proofs.

My photographer cost $4000 for our album, 2 parents albums, 3 enlargements, all proofs and a CD of our pictures. We had one photographer and an assistant
