Does anyone know if you have to pay for your photography package in full before the wedding. I am just wondering if anyone knows and if not how much the deposit pre-wedding is. I am just trying to figure out my pre-wedding budget and want to include only those things I need to pay for before the wedding or on the day of.
Also if you don't pay in full does that mean you can change your package when you see your proofs?
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I am using patken. 2/3 is due prior to your wedding .The rest is due when you pick up your proofs.

They usually ask for a min of $500

I booked with Duet a few weeks ago.
20% is due at signing (or 10% at signing and 10$ within the next month)
30% is due about 9-10 months before the wedding.
40% is due by or on the wedding date.
10% is due when we pick up our proofs.
So basically, for your pre-wedding budget, 50% would be deposited before the day of.

Depends on the photographer. Mine wants to be paid in full 1 week before the wedding. I found this with a few others.

Mine is also a payment plan. I put down:
13% at deposit then I have 3 20% payments before the wedding Then the final balance is paid upon pickup of proofs.
