Photographer & DJ Ideas

So I've narrowed down (sort of!) possible photo and DJ vendors to make appointments with. FH and I are trying to book before Christmas because he is going to FAA academy January-March/April and we might have to move after that!

Could anyone give me their opinions/reviews for any of these vendors? (Or if you have any quotes that would be great too!) We are trying to narrow down our list as much as possible.

How many vendors did you guys go to see before you chose?

I got a good feel of them on the phone which helped and I did all reviews on here and yelp...if something didn't look right I eliminated them immediately..
I am booked with Silverfox for photo and then till now DJ
We knew with both after looking they were it and no need to look any longer.

I went to a lot of showcases and met with them personally. I checked reviews and their work. But most importantly, how I was treated by them made all the difference in who I choose!

I saw 3 photographers and 3 DJs and then picked my favorite. Didn't want to get too overwhelmed with too many options. I relied heavily on reviews prior to making an appt to narrow the list down.

I would love everyone's opinions on the vendors if they've met with them or have chosen them. I read reviews and look at their photos and love them all I can't choose! haha

Silverfox is great for both photos & DJ. I have heard a lot of good things about LI Sound too.

We went with NY Nights Entertainment. Our DJ will be the owner Neil. We clicked with him right away. FH was adamant about having them as our DJ co

Lighthouse has been amazing to work with, they've answered all my annoying questions and were very reasonably priced. You can see my engagement pics in my album :). Were also going with capture the moment for video I'm obsessed with her Vimeo lol. Let me know if you want quotes.

Sure! I will send you some info tonight. They are a small studio of 2 women and they've been great so far. We did our engagement photos in May we love them

I didn't meet with a lot, but I contacted about 10 photographers and 10 DJs, I got all of the quotes, figured out what we could afford and took it from there. In the end we went with Complete Wedding Packages in East Meadow. Awesome prices and great people to work with.

We went with After Hours for DJ and photobooth and Ken Hild for our photographer. I put some of our e-pics in an album if you wanna see how they look :)
