I am trying to book a photographer. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I am looking for someone in Suffolk County because my church and reception are in Suffolk. Thanks so much for your help.

I am using Imagine Studios. It's a husband and wife team who do photo and video. Alot of brides on this site have used them and all of the pictures I've seen have been amazing.

I am very close to booking Imagine. Mainly because of the many recommendations on this board. They were really nice on the phone which is always a plus.
Ed Collins Photo is my other choice.

Mark Kauffman is really great...he has two offices, somewhere in Manhatten, and Port Jefferson. His proofs are 5x6/5x5...so they're like actual pictures themselves that you can frame. If your in the area, you should check him out.

I'm using JoVon. My wedding is in Suffolk also. I looked around a lot and no other photographer could compare to the quality of JoVon.

I second Spellman Studios in Deer Park. Definitely meet with them. Christine is very nice and her pictures are beautiful.
