I am looking for a photographer. I'm planning on meeting with Marco photgraphy, ADA, North Island Photography and Daniel Krieger. I'd love to hear from people who have used them before. I'm looking for someone who will take good quality pics, be pleasent to work with all day, and be reasonably priced. Any other suggestions?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Re: photographer help
I would also check out Patken. Many of the girls on here are using them and they are very reasonable

Re: photographer help
I am using ADA! I highly recommend them. If you book with them make sure you get Tony for your photographer. He is great. He is the one who trained all of their photographers! They are very reasonably priced and will make a package the suites your budget!

Re: photographer help
Welcome to the board, we are using VIP studios. Photography was the biggest concern for me. Do a search to get some really good feedback. That helped me.

Re: photographer help
would you mind telling me what you heard? A lot of people have recommeded ADA to me, but all have had a different photographer, and the pictuers I saw from one person's wedding I wasn't to crazy about, even though they really liked them.

Re: photographer help
One thing about ADA that I was not thrilled about - even though I really liked Tony - was the payment schedule, they wanted to be paid in full by the wedding date. I felt that this was ridicioulous, so we went with someone else.

Re: photographer help
My sister used ADA for her wedding in September 1999 and one of my girlfriends used them in April 2000. Both had difficulties. I was the MOH at my sisters wedding so I saw things first hand. The photographer (he was the owner or head photographer) kept running off to take personal phone calls while we were in the middle of pictures. I couldn't believe how rude he was being! I'm not talking once or twice for a couple of seconds, I'm talking 10 minute conversations! His assistant at the time was not nice at all either. My girlfriend seemed to have a decent experience the day of her wedding but it took her A YEAR to get her album after picking proofs, etc. She got a bit of a run around from them. Both my sister's and girlfriend's albums came out nice but they both had some trouble. [Sister got married at Eastwind, girlfriend at Villa Lombardi's]
Just sharing my experience, I hope it is helpful.

Re: photographer help
Wow, you guys got me scared now. I booked with ADA and was so excited to get Tony. I heard nothing but good things until today. I hope everything goes okay with my wedding. The most important think to me is the photography! Please cross your fingers for me now!
