I could use some help on picking a photographer please. What we are looking for is contemporary modern shots AND traditional mix. We originally intended on using Duet because a friend has used them and they were exceptional! But unfortunately they are already booked....
So we've looked at Patken which is very nice but a bit pricey. And we also looked at Glenmor which were WAY too traditional for my taste, and pricey aswell.
We have an appt with Sherwood-triart and Perception photos next week.
Is there a photographer that you guys could recommend looking into that wont break the bank, and has what we are looking for. We love the different angle shots and various lighting effects, while still retaining some of the traditional shots too!

trying to keep total cost under 6. we have spotlite digital video that we both love and they start at $2500. So if we find a photographer for aroun 3-3500 then that works. Or under of course...lol
Probably gonna look at Thomas Paul this weekend and maybe one more.

Definately check out Lighthouse Photography!! Awesome prices with great quality work & so amazingly nice!!! I can NOT WAIT for them to shoot my wedding!!!
I think that with your budget and the style that you are looking for...he will be a great vendor to consider...We are so happy with our choice.

check out Gina Esposito Photography ..she is a friend and our photographer...she does work sometimes for TP..very photojournalistic.

Did you try to negotiate with Patken? If you liked them I am sure they can work with your budget..they really worked with me. Good luck!

Who Did you meet with at Glenmar? Thats who we are using and I thought they were the most modern. We met with the photographer whose shots we loved most. Her name is Anna and she is very much into more contemporary photography and candids.
