Photographer help!!! please ladies i need your advice

Try to FM other brides who used your photographer and see how long it took them to get their proofs.

If anything I would threaten to call the Better Business Bureau.

NOPE! Not a one. and i wouldnt mind it but we've given them quite a large sum of money already. I am just disgusted.

it might be that they normally do take 4-6 weeks but during the summer is when they are extremely busy bc there are so many weddings. So they probably have less free time to edit the pics, so dont get worried yet. Maybe email them and ask how come its taking longer than expected, is there something wrong you need to know about?

ITA. The summer hours are probably insane for wedding vendors... especially photogs. That is no excuse as to why you haven't gotten yours yet though. If your contract states 4-6 weeks, then 8 weeks is unacceptable. I'd def keep harassing them until they give you a good reason. And if they don't, maybe a BBB issue will light the fire under their butts!!! Sorry, I know how frustrating it must be!

I agree they are busy but i wish the first girl i talked to said 8-10 weeks so i didnt get excited only to be let down again. If i had known that from the beginning i would be fine but earing 4-6 then 6-8 then 8-10 is just bad business.

i would be disgusted as well. See what your contract says, & if they are over the alotted time, you may have 2 start threatening them. it sux that you would have to do this because they still have the product & could do what ever they like with it.

yeah they definitely should've looked at their schedule, see that its real busy right now and tell you at least that hopefully 4-6 weeks but bc of wedding season might be 8 weeks or more. It S*CKS to get you all excited to see them soon and then being told you have to wait another couple of weeks.
