Photographer help..Rick & Co.

Photographer help..Rick & Co.

My girlfriend is having TERRIBLE problems with them. She got married in the spring of 2003. She got married at Crystal Swan in Medford which was a catering hall that was all inclusive, she paid one price and most was included, INCLUDING PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEO. After paying for this to the catering hall and having her wedding, right after, Crystal Swan went out of business. The photographer will not work with her at all, knowing he was included in the $$ she paid to Crystal Swan. She even has paid extra money to them, I believe. On top of that, he is telling her she knows NOTHING about this busness, insulting her and unless she pays a certain amount of $$, she will never see her photo album, video, etc. THis has been going on now for two years. I hear about this so many times when I talk to her.

Does anyone have any advice? Should she file a claim with BBB?

I think this is so unfair that she got screwed when the catering hall closed. She is stuck with this mess and doesn't have the extra funds to put out just to get what she should have, being her husband is out of work. I feel terrible for her. Does anyone have any suggestions?

On top of all this, on her wedding day, she was 'not allowed' to have pictures taken of what she wanted. She wanted a couple of extra pictures with her girlfriends and was told 'no, that is not the way we do things.'

Any advice?

What she needs to do is get a lawyer. Filing a complaint with the BBB is good but it really won't do much for her. Good Luck to her this is really horrible. This company is holding her memories hostage basically.

i would say the best thing for her to do is to file a claim in small claims court. hope everything works out!

when we met with him I didn't like him at all..he would not allow any creative suggestions as far as creating a photo album..I'm sorry but if I'm paying I will have a say! I think your friend should take him to court and also file a complaint against him...
