Photographer Hours

Photographer Hours

How many hours do I really need a photographer for?? I starting searching for a photographer and I've already met with six. I noticed that some offer 8, 10, or unlimited coverage for the day. Should I spend extra on unlimited coverage or adding additional hours?

If i did the 10 hrs... it would have been perfect...

they came at 2 just in time for my getting ready shots... but my reception lasted until 12:30... so they had to leave at 10 because i only booked them for 8 hours...

ETA: i probably could have paid them to stay the extra 2 hours... but at the time i dont know why i didnt think of it...

We did 10 and half hours and it was absolutely perfect. They got there 2 hours before the ceremony and stayed until the end of the reception.

We're getting unlimited coverage because that's just part of every package that they have - so from prep until the end with two photographers.

I got 2 photographers and one viedo
since i live upstate somewhat one photographer and the viedo is coming up to me so i have 13 hours with them and then the other photographer is going to FH house and we have him for 12 hours. Hopefully its enough time.. We are getting married on New Year's Eve -- the church is at 3 pm and reception starts at 7 to 1 .. cutting it close

we have 2 photogs for 11 hours.

We are going to have one go to FIL's house and one come to my mom's house at 1:00pm - giving a little under 2 hours for getting ready shots, bride portraits, and individual shots with the BMs. Ceremony is at 3:00pm and the reception ends at 12am.
