Does anyone have any experience with: 1)Modern Wedding Photography by Denise Chastain (Franklin Square) 2)Farrell Duncan (Brooklyn) Or if anyone has other suggestions, I`m looking for hip, unintrusive photojournalist types in the $2500 - $3500 range. I`m willing to take a chance provided I feel confident that he/she will actually show up! (I`m just getting over a supplier I LOVED who is now MIA -- website went down, email no longer active, and he doesn`t return my phone calls :( --, feel free to ask so I can steer you away!) Thanks!

Another Mark Kaufman bride
I am having Lynn and Roy shoot my 11/2/2002 wedding. I meet Lynn and she is GREAT. She really understood my vision of the wedding. Mark has been in business for many years and has no Better Business Bureau problems at all. That is really important to check on when you are booking for your wedding. You should report the other vendor to the Better Business Bureau to help others avoid them.

Wedding Group One
We used them and loved their work. Check out their website, www.weddingone.com and you'll see what I mean. They are very professional and unobtrusive you don't even realize they were there until you look at your proofs. We even got a lot of compliments from our guests about the photographers.

Imagine Studios
I used Imagine for my 8-31 wedding and I absolutely LOVED them. Everything went beautifully and sooo smooth. They were great!!! My proofs are gorgeous and she got everything I wanted without even having to tell her!

Is either Lynn or Tony a fine art pro? I'm using Mark Kaufman also, but we're using Jody & Drew. Just wondering because we're going in blind as far as actual photographers go. Thanks!

For Sara
I saw Drew's work and Jody's too. Both are great. I almost chose to use Drew as my 2nd photographer but decided to go with the Lynn/Roy team instead. I think it is a great idea to have some male perspective and female persepective. Your photos are going to be great.!!!

Ed's office is in Manhattan. Honestly I cant remember everything I am getting....its was a pretty standard package with album, parents albums, 8 hours. I know he takes over 500 pics and specializes in B&W candids. The best part was that we only had to pay $400 before the wedding and everything else is due afterwards. Give him a call he will fax you his price list. His pics are just awesome and he is such a sweet guy!!! Best of luck Jen

I should be getting the proofs this week so I'll let you all know how they turn out -- and what his work was like. If they are anything like his sample albums I think we'll be very pleased.

I would have to agree with Michele. Your pictures are going to be fabulous! I've scanned in some of our proofs if you'd like to take a look: http://photos.yahoo.com/shelby27_0527 I swear I could not have asked for more perfection! The team at Mark's studio are beyond comparison in my opinion!! Good luck to you and keep us posted with your progress. MicheleWelcome New Vendors
