Photographer meetings
We have narrowed it down to 4 photographers that we'd like to meet with- Jaylim, Exo, Michael O'Neil and Lighthouse. How many photographers did you guys meet with? I'm wondering if 4 is too many... It is so hard to narrow it down and the more research I do, the more photographers I like! We would like to do it all in one day, but that may be crazy. Anyway, I was wondering how much time I should schedule for each appointment. We are coming from out east so hoping to drive out to Jaylim and then hit our other three on the way home. Also, can anyone tell me roughly how much they expect as a deposit? Thanks :)

Great taste! I'm between JAYlim and Lighthouse myself. I think JAYlim requires a 10% deposit and Lighthouse is 20% of the total prices of their services. I'm out of state and picking based off of portfolios and other brides reviews, so I'm very interested to hear how your meetings go and who you choose. JAYlim gave me a package and a price that has beat all other photographers (including video) so I'm leaning towards them. Good luck!

Wow that is so funny! That would be so cute if you used him as well! He is the only preferred photographer at our venue that I really like. His photos are very artistic and timeless. I've heard he's a little expensive though, so we'll see!!!

I dont think 4 is a lot at all. I met with 4 and looked through million of websites to really narrow down what I liked. I think photography is really important. I went with Benchwerk. Chris is awesome and really cares about your vision and what you like. each of his weddings are so different.Consultations can take from 30 mins to an hour depending how much detail you go into. Good luck

My FH and I were trying to narrow it down to around three. We might just schedule Jaylim and hope we love it as much as we do online. I also really like wavecrest so I'm not sure when we plan on meeting with them

We also live out of state & booked our photographer in NJ but we met with someone from Jaylim today for video & booked. They do great work & as of now their pricing is reasonably. Friendly staff & the studio is really nice. They require 10% deposit.

I'm really happy to see that places only require 10-20% deposit. I was worried it was going to be 50%! I have no idea how these things work haha

We met with three, Jaylim was our last and we knew before we left we would be booking them. Everyone was super nice and accommodating (they stayed open late so we could come during the week after I got out of work). We love our engagement pictures and are super excited to have them be apart of our day!Welcome New Vendors
