I'm in need of serious help choosing a photographer. There are too many good ones to choose from, it seems!
I'm looking for a photojournalistic approach.
Can you pls respond if you've had any experience with any of the following below?

I am using Sherwood Triart and am excited about them. I was deciding between them and Fred Marcus, in Manhattan. They are both great but Sherwood was a little more competitively priced. I also met with Anthony Vazquez and while his work is nice, I wasn't a fan of his.

I Iooooove Lina Jang's work. It is amazing but she wasn't in my budget.
Amanda Picone has fabulous work and she is a vendor on here. Her website is www.amandapicone.com.

Amanda Picone. Most definitely ! I used her for my epics, wedding and boudoir and will be using her for my trash the dress session.

Great pictures. I love willi wong. He photographed a friend of mine's wedding last year. We also took our second set of engagement pictures in dumbo in all of the same locations. LOVE IT.

It's too bad both Willi Wong and Angelica Glass only accept bookings up to a year in advance, and I really want to take care of booking a photographer soon...

Anthony Vazquez is wonderful...he actually just photographed Beverly Mitchell's wedding (Lucy from 7th Heaven) in Italy. Very personable and GREAT work!

I completely understand, but if you cant book, one one else can book them either for your date. If you are completely interested, asked them if they can at least pencil you in and you'll be sure to call them a year to the date.

I would call and ask about that. You may be able to book as soon as January 2010 for the following year. I know I booked Angelica 15 months or so before our wedding.
