So.....my FI and I are determined to book a photographer by the end of the month (ps we haven't looked at/met with ANY yet!) Here's my list that I'd like to check out based on what I've researched.... In no particular order.....
1. Duet 2. Franklin Square Photographers 3. 12th Night 4. Silver Fox 5. Sherwood Triart
Any words of advice or opinions on any of these photographers??? Any input is greatly appreciated. Both good and bad. FM's are welcome

Hi I booked Duet also......but I also checked out Sherwood Triart loved them!! But a bit out of our budget.

I booked Sherwood Triart. I loved the albums we saw and I really liked all of the people we met there. The creative director, the person who helps put your album together, was finishing my sentences. I thought that was a good sign.

We booked Duet, packages & pricing are great! But we also like Fine Art Photography 7 Ray O'connor Photography.

Silver Fox in mine...we loved them and felt very comfortable with them. Their website has prices and lots of pics and sample demo videos...they are worth a look..Good Luck

choosing a photog is not easy I seen Queens bridal liked them but alittle out of the price range
Autumn photographey nice prices were ok but didn't offer much
Starlight video goodpricing good pics just weren't available for my date. Its a local place in queens.
cassarino they had nice work as well but wasn't to keen on the people
and today went to see glenmar likedthem and the people there are very nice and willing to work with you. I booked with them

Thank you all so much for your input. It is greatly appreciated! We have been putting off the photographer hunt. THere's so many to choose from...it's sooooo overwhelming!!! i want a reasonable price, but, i also want quality work. The hunt begins!

We also booked Duet. Their work was comparable to Silverfox. I actually loved Silverfox b/c I felt so comfortable with them, but they were out of our budget. I found them to be a little on the high side.

We booked Sherwood Triart. I really love their magazine style albums. I think that is what we will end up getting. The have a ton of different album styles, and the photos just looked beautiful.

This is seriously the most difficult aspect of wedding planning I have faced so far.... finding a photographer is craziness, especially when there are not too many people willing to meet on the weekends, the only time an out of towner can go to LI
