For those of you that have booekd a photographer already... How long will the photographer be with you that day??? Does your package include specified hours??
If so, when will you be utilizing their time? (at home, ceremony, pictures in between or reception)
I am asking because my ceremony starts at 2 and my reception doesn't end unitl 12 and I know that alot of photographers don't stay the whole day with the bride.
TIA

Re: Photographer Question
My photog is hanging with me for 10 hours. You can negotiate and ask for more time with them. Sometimes, they will charge extra.

Re: Photographer Question
I have 15 hours. One photographer will come to my house while i'm getting ready, the second photographer will go to FH's while he's getting ready and then to the ceremony, pics after, and then the RH.

Thanks!!! I will keep this in mind. So it seems that the time they are with you is negotiable....

if you want them to stay longer than what is in the contract its usually extra per hour. You might be able to negotiate that so when meeting with photographers try to negotiate the time they are with you. If not its usually not that much more extra.

Re: Photographer Question
Mine is 12 hour coverage. Anything over 12 hours is an extra charge.

Re: Photographer Question
he's with me for either 8 or 10 hours. can't remember correctly, at work & my contract is at home.
we're going to start at the hotel with me getting ready then take pics in the planting fields & then the ceremony & reception. i'll probably ask him to stay longer & pay extra.

Re: Photographer Question
Both my photographers will start at 12:30 and end at 11:30. My ceremony starts at 2:30 and reception ends at 11:30. So I am getting them for 2 hours before the ceremony for getting ready pics and they will stay until we leave. No extra $$ for 11 hours

Re: Photographer Question
I believe he will be with me the whole day from getting ready at my house until the end of the reception.
ETA: Church is 3:30 so he will probably be at my house an hour or two sonner than that. Reception ends at midnight.
I'll have to ask. Good question.

Re: Photographer Question
Our photo/video guys will be with us the whole day, with no overtime charges! That was a huge factor in me choosing them actually! There is a big gap between my ceremony and reception and I did not want ot have to worry about paying crazy amounts of money in OT.
