My dad is a photographer and he's been in the business for many years. He has alot of freinds in the business and told me he would get someone to do the wedding. I am scared because what if he gets someone (and granted I would save some money) but he doesn't do such a great job because it's a favor. I think the photographer is sooooo important. My dad keeps telling me don't you dare get a photographer. What should I do!!

Re: Photographer question..
whoever he gets will do a great job because he is friendly with your dad and will want to do the bes tpossible job! I think its a great plan! Ask your dad who he recommends and then take a look at their work!

Re: Photographer question..
If your dad has been in the business for a long time I'm sure he knows who's good and who's not - and will make sure he gets you someone who will take great pics!

One I wouldnt worry about someone not doing a good job b/c it's a favor - they would prob try to do even better. .but if you do not like the person's style, you could always take the photographer as a favor and then get some for just a few hours - in a diff style - like photojournalism..
