If you do a search, you will find that quite a few brides have used:
Jovon Photography Mark Kauffman Creative Compositions
I used Creative Compositions for my June 2002 wedding and absolutely love them. I would be happy to answer any questions you have. I'd suggest Forum Mailing me since I don't check the boards nearly as often as I used to!
There is a price range in the studios you have mentioned by the way -- Creative Compositions is on the more expensive side if cost is a big issue for you.

I actually went to see Lina Jang on Monday. She does all digital pics but for me, that's not what I'm looking for. I'd rather have film. She was very nice.

I am using VIP Studios. I really like his work and he is affordable. There are always 2 photographers at each wedding which is what I wanted also.

There are some thread on here for specific photographers- I am using DUET and you can find a lot of information about them on the thread Nora keeps- do a search and you'll find it.
I think there is a Patken thread too.

I am using VIP as well! If you go to the search button on top and type in VIP(add an extra space after, teh search only will do it with 4 characters) or any of the others, you will be able to see peoples pics! there are about 3 or 4 people who have posted pics from VIP which was one of the things that led me there!

we are using imagine studios. they have the perfect mixture of traditional and photojournalitic pictures. definatly check them out. i know alot of people have used them on here- do a search for proofs.
we checked out duet and they are very reasonable and concentrate on photojournalistic approach.

definately look at brides who ALREADY got proofs
do a search on each name or ask the NW to FM you their pic links

i think i told you before that we are using perceptions photography. i know there are some girls on theknot.com that have also used him. one of those girls pictures are on his website (from the cresent beach club.) fm me if you need more info. i am going there tomorrow to add to my package!

I am using Jovon and am very happy so far with my engagement pictures that I've gotten back. If you do a search for my name you can find the pics- if not just FM me. I have friends who've used Jovon and their pictures are beautiful!
