I need some information on what photographers are going for and what photographers you ladies recommend.. I am looking for photo journalism rather than traditional. I would like some different ideas on packages anyone has received quotes on and what it includes. Thank you so much!!

The package we are getting is about $2500 and includes a photographer, an assistant, one album, all photos on DVD, photo journalism style, plus engagement photos free.
The first quotes I was getting from many people were closer to $4k, so this is on the low end from what I understand for a photographer.
You might as well shop around a bit since you have so long. There are zillions of great photographers out there, you just need to find someone you're comfortable with that you believe you can trust to do right by you at your wedding so you get the memories that are most important to you preserved on film

Almost forgot... Yun Gen Yang is another great photographer in Manhattan...

Doug is absolutely amazing. Everyone who works under him is also trained with his photo technique.He has done many of my family member's weddings & their pics & video are unike any other photographer that I have seen!

I just got married on Friday and Gary leli was incredible (some pro pictures in album) and so calm and not invasive. i told him i didn't like the posie posie shots and he was so great! And you can't beat his prices. FM me for more info...

I highly recommend J'adore Love Photography. Their work is amazing. I have a few teaser e-pics in my album. You will not be disappointed. You have FM.

I am booked with 12th night. A basic package starts at $1950 and you get a lot for it and the work is amazing.
I also looked at: Noelle P. Wilson-basic package $800 Patken-$2300 Hybrid Media Production-basic $800
