If my ceremony starts at 2:30 and we'll be leaving my house around 2:00, what time should the photographer be coming?

check with you rphotographer..some of them quote you based on the mength of time they are needed...even as little as 8 hours...which might cause a problem. I saw someone post that they didn't realize it and the photograther left before the cake cutting b/c he wasn't contracted to stay. So find that out first.... but if time isn't an option than it depends opn whether or not you want him/her to be there when you are getting ready with make-up, hair, etcc...

Depends.
Do you want her at your house taking pictures of you 'getting ready'?
Do you have 1 or 2? Do you want some 'detail shots'? If you only have 1 photog and you want detail shots you might want her to arrive 30 minutes earlier than you to get some of those shots out of the way.

My photographer came at 1pm and we left the hotel at 2pm for a 3pm ceremony.

it depends... if you want pictures of you getting ready or not...
make sure you calculate what time they are supposed to leave because i never did and since i had him there at 2 he had to leave at 10:30.

My photographer arrived at 3 PM for my 5 PM wedding and stayed until 2 AM.
ETA: We had them booked for 10.5 hours, but they stayed a little later.

we are going to have the photogs arrive at each of our houses at 1pm for our 3pm ceremony. I definitely want to get all the getting ready shots for each of us and the shots with my BMS and FH with his GMS done and out of the way before the ceremony so we don't have waste time later taking them.
