Is it better to book the same company for both the photographer and videographer? I had heard that it was better to go with seperate vendors, but when I think about it, it seems like things would run more smoothly if I went with the same vendor. Any opinions? Thanks...

Re: Photographer/ Videographer...
We booked the same vendor because we liked their work and didnt want to have to worry about different personalities clashing on the day of our wedding

We were told by a few people that it is best to book the same. This way they don't get in eachother's way trying to get the best shots.

I booked separately because I don't trust in companies with 'packages'. Plus, we are using a freelance photographer.

we are using the same because we couldnt book one without the other- but we are so happy with that decision

Re: Photographer/ Videographer...
We booked with Twelfth Night who doesn't have a videographer but we are planning to use a friend of his, Mittermax, because at least they know each other and work together often.
I was nervous about using a videographer from a photography company without using the photographer as well... Conflict of interest :)
