Does anyone have any suggestions for a photographer that are reasonably priced? It seems to me all of the quotes I am getting are from four to five thousand. I don't even want the whole package thing that seems to come with them. Any ideas?

We're using Mark Kauffman, too! We only wanted proofs and re-prints...no album...and he was TOTALLY accommodating. We loved their photojournalistic niche, and the price was right for exactly what we wanted (no more!)...
Check out DeJa Vu Studios in Mineola...i feel that they are very reasonable and they worked with us and gave us what we wanted!
I want a centerpiece that has roses in a ring with possibly a bowl in the middle with floating candles-- the problem--our package comes with a centerpiece and to upgrade to this look they want to charge $45 -- i think this is high so we priced bowls/candles on our own and the size of the bowl we want to use is quite large/never on sale/ always $7 or so...

I too am getting married at Flowerfield (in September). I found a great hotel nearby in Port Jefferson called Danfords. I think it might be a little pricey but it is right on the water in the village so out of town guests can do other things while in town. I have their number at home if you can't find it--let me know...
